Black and silky hair is often compared with dark clouds, but do you know it is during the rainy season that our hair goes through many problems? Problems like hair breakage, hair fall, dandruff, dryness are usually elevated during monsoon.

You need to pay more attention to your hair care during monsoon season than during other periods. We will go through some simple hair care tips which you can follow during the rainy days.

Oil Therapy

Mix the same amount of coconut oil, sesame oil, and olive oil and heat it using the double boiling method. Once this oil has become warm enough, add one tsp of Mehandi powder, curry leaves powder and gooseberry powder each and turn off the heat. Apply this oil to your hair and scalp and massage gently. Soak a towel in warm water, squeeze it, and apply this hot towel to your hair till it turns cold. Repeat this process for 5 to 10 minutes and wash off the hair in normal water. It removes the dryness, dandruff from the scalp and makes the hair feel soft.

Coconut milk and Aloe Vera Gel

Sometimes you may skip washing your hair during monsoon season, and this leads to increase in dandruff, dryness, and stickiness to your hair. Take half a cup of coconut milk and add some organic aloe vera gel to it and mix it well. Apply this paste to the hair scalp and gently massage it for 5 to 10 minutes and wash it off in warm water. It removes dandruff and dryness.

Almond Oil and Gooseberry

Take equal quantities of almond oil and gooseberry extract. Mix them both and apply it to the scalp. Give a gentle massage to the scalp after the application and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash off the hair in warm water. It will strengthen the hair and make it appear silky soft.

Neem leaves

Take half a bucket of water and add a handful of neem leaves to it. Let the neem leaves soak overnight. In the morning remove the neem leaves and use this water to wash your hair. It will chase away dandruff and also prevent it.

Egg White and Castor oil

Mix egg white with a little castor oil and half a teaspoon of glycerin. Apply this over scalp and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash off the hair in warm water. It will strengthen the hair and reduce hair fall.
