Urinary tract infections are more common in women than men. This problem usually arises due to infections in the bladder and urethra. UTIs are more common in women who are post menopause, as tissues in the vagina and urethra gets thinner and drier after menopause and becomes more vulnerable for bacterial infections.
Some of the common symptoms of urinary tract infections include fever, burning during urination, constant need to urinate, a feeling of fullness in the bladder.

Make echinacea tea by steeping two tea bags in boiling water for 10 minutes or use raw roots in place of tea bags. Drink three cups of this tea a day. Echinacea herb strengthens your immune system and increases your body’s fluid intake.
7. Drink Lovage Tea
Pour a cup of boiling water to 2 teaspoons of minced dried lovage root and let it steep for 10 minutes. Strain and drink it this tea two to three times a day. Lovage herb is anti-inflammatory in nature, this will kill off harmful bacterias.
8. Drink Nettle Tea
Mix 1 tsp of dried nettle herb to a cup of hot water and let it steep for few minutes. Drink one cup of this tea daily. Nettle is diuretic so it will make you to urinate more, and help you to flush out bacterias.
9. Take Goldenseal Root Extract
Take 500 to 1000 milligrams of goldenseal root extract once a day for up to a week. Goldenseal will strengthen your immune system, and helps you to heal the inflammation in the urinary tract.
