Brushing your teeth can be bit drag or difficult task for many of us. In fact, most people around the world skip to brush their teeth once in a while and put on a chewing gum just to keep their mouth feeling fresh. If you belong to this category then Amabrush might be the best solution to keep your teeth in healthy condition.
While manual toothbrush or electric toothbrush takes you around 3 to 5 minutes to brush your teeth, Amabrush finishes the task within 10 seconds. It might seem like a little time to brush your teeth, but the creators justify it in a way that seems acceptable. With manual toothbrush or electric ones you would need to manually place your toothbrush in different positions and get it to the different tooth, the whole travel process and brushing them individually in different angles takes time. On the contrary, in this toothbrush, all the work is done simultaneously due to its unique design, making it really time efficient. But just in case you want it to brush longer, you can alter the timing to your satisfaction.
The whole of Amabrush is made of three different parts
Mouthpiece, handpiece, and the toothpaste capsule. The mouthpiece has soft antibacterial silicone bristles which are angled at 45 degrees. The handpiece is what connects the toothpaste capsule to the mouthpiece. So for every single session, it transfers about 0.35ml of toothpaste into the mouthpiece.
You might have guessed it by now, you cannot use your normal toothpaste on this one, you need to use special toothpaste capsule, that comes in three flavors Standard, Whitening, and Sensitive. All of these toothpastes are fluoride-free and a single capsule is claimed to last for around a month for one individual.
So every single member of the family needs a separate Amabrush?
The answer is NO! Mouthpiece and handpiece can be separated, so each member of the family can have a separate mouthpiece on a single Amabrush. It might sound great, but most of us would obviously prefer a separate brush.
So what is the lifetime of a mouthpiece?
Mouthpiece stays effective for around 3 to 6 months time frame, which is equivalent to a normal toothbrush. So you need to change bristles depending upon your usage.
How to charge it?
Amabrush comes in two different versions, basic and pro. The basic version can be charged with micro-USB charger which is not included with the purchase. While the pro version comes with wireless charger. But there is no difference between the two, just that pro version is shipped with wireless charger, but the basic version is very much wireless friendly.
Wireless charging station that comes with pro-version supports two slots for two mouthpieces and a slot for toothpaste capsule. A single charge is claimed to last for 28 sessions, which means it will last for a couple of weeks for an individual user. Just in case you forget the charger you are covered for a considerable time duration.
Will the same size suit all?
Supposedly yes, as claimed by its creators, its mouthpiece is made of flexible material so it should fit in perfectly for both adult men and women. Unfortunately, there is no kids version available as of now, but it might soon become available in the near future.
What is the cost?
The product is still under fundraiser on Kickstarter, but it has raised over 824,000 euros which are way over its actual target of 50,000 euros with 25 days more to go. At the moment you can support the product and get yours shipped by December 2017 for the price starting from 79 euros.
